Cam Ward is a Republican member of the Alabama Senate.〔http://www.legislature.state.al.us/senate/senators/senatebios/sd014.html〕 He has represented District 14 since 2010. ==Biography== Ward was born in Milton, Florida and graduated from Bradford County High School in Starke, Florida. He received an undergraduate degree (international relations and political science) from Troy University and a law degree from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University.〔http://www.troy.edu/magazine/archives/Fall2008/alumni.html〕 While at Troy, Ward served two terms as Student Government Association president.〔http://www.troy.edu/magazine/archives/Fall2008/alumni.html〕 Ward is currently the Executive Director of the Industrial Development Board of Alabaster,〔http://www.cityofalabaster.com/Default.asp?ID=869〕 AL. He is chairman of the Autism Task Force of Alabama〔http://www.wkrg.com/raw_news/article/state-launches-web-site-to-give-autism-information/321282/Sep-03-2009_5-38-pm/〕 and recently announced the launch of Autism Alabama, "an on-line library providing distance learning for teachers who have children on the autism spectrum."〔http://www.alabasterreporter.com/news/2009/sep/03/autism-alabama-site-launched/〕 In December 2010 Ward worked to pass a key piece of legislation granting Subpoena Power to the Alabama Ethics Commission. This bill (was passed by both chambers ) of the Alabama Legislature on December 16, 2010 and signed into law by (Governor Bob Riley on December 20, 2010 ).
